Core Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day electrical maintenance on plant systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Follow SATORP safety and quality procedures during electrical maintenance activities.
• Check routine maintenance work for proper execution.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical assets promptly to improve availability and reliability.
• Receive work directions from the Electrical Supervisor and track maintenance orders and requests.
• Maintain daily work records, follow maintenance progress, and prepare completion reports.
• Enforce applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and safety precautions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HV and LV switchgear and control gear, including protection relays, circuit breakers, busbars, contactors, motor starters, and ATS.
• Measure partial discharge in HV motor capacitors and perform online motor current signature analysis.
• Test transformers and support switchgear operations in electrical substations when requested.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Electrical Leader.

Technical Requirements

• Strong knowledge of electrical system maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electro-hydraulic system maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and procedures.
• Strong understanding of maintenance management for oil and gas facilities.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or an equivalent qualification, with the stated high school experience pathway also accepted.
• At least four years of oil and gas maintenance experience with a high school qualification, or at least two years with a diploma.
• Valid certification from a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute confirming work competency.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.

Work Environment

• The work covers electrical systems, equipment, facilities, and substations within a designated industrial maintenance area.
• The role requires adherence to safety, quality, and environmental procedures during maintenance activities.
