Position Summary
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing electrical operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
This role provides leadership to electrical staff, coordinates daily work activities, and supports ongoing maintenance and project work.
Position Title: Electrical Supervisor
Location: BHP Jansen mine site
Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and electrical apprentices
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and electrical codes
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and support maintenance repairs
- Maintain records related to work orders, inspections, and materials
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to staff
- Participate in continuous improvement and preventative maintenance initiatives
- Oversee the execution of projects to ensure high level of performance, both in safety and efficiency
- Responsible for the scheduling duties of all employees, communicating with superintendent, employees and clients.
