Role Overview
The Electrical Site Engineer is responsible for coordinating electrical project execution and site activities.
The role is based in person and involves supervision of labour, subcontractors, quality, and safety.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is listed as preferred.
- At least one year of field or total work experience is stated in the job description.
- Day-shift availability and willingness to travel up to 25% are preferred.
Site and Project Responsibilities
- Survey the site and check electrical drawings, quantities, and calculation accuracy.
- Oversee material purchases for project execution.
- Plan work and organize site facilities to meet agreed programme deadlines.
- Liaise with project subcontractors and attend meetings with clients, architects, and consultants.
- Keep project stakeholders informed of progress.
- Supervise site labour and monitor subcontractor work.
- Oversee quality control and safety matters and ensure regulations are maintained.
- Resolve unexpected technical difficulties and other site problems.
