Job Purpose
The Substation Site Engineer is responsible for site execution, erection, installation, testing, commissioning, and supervision of electrical substation works.
The role requires hands-on experience with substation erection, electrical equipment installation, testing and commissioning, cable laying, earthing, lighting, and site coordination.
Location and Working Conditions
- The role is project and site based in Gujarat and other project locations as required.
- The candidate must be willing to travel and work at project sites according to business requirements.
Site Execution and Supervision
- Supervise and execute substation erection and electrical installation activities at site.
- Plan and monitor daily activities according to the project schedule.
- Supervise installation of transformers, LT/HT panels, switchgear, control panels, cable trays, cables, earthing systems, lighting systems, and other electrical equipment.
- Supervise and guide site engineers, technicians, and project team members as required.
