Role Overview
The Electrical Quality Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha.
The role focuses on inspecting and testing electrical installations, equipment, and systems for compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections and testing of electrical installations, equipment, and systems.
- Review technical drawings, verify material quality, and prepare quality control documentation.
- Issue reports on non-conformities and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and support continuous improvement of quality procedures.
- Assist with commissioning activities and maintain accurate inspection and test records.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Technical Qualifications
- LV switchgear production.
- LV switchgear testing and commissioning.
- LV switchgear troubleshooting and maintenance.
- FAT/SAT inspection and LV switchgear test report preparation.
- ACB and MCCB testing.
- Soft starter and VFD configuration and commissioning.
- MCC panel testing and commissioning.
- Protection testing and protection relay testing.
- Power factor panel testing and commissioning.
