Electrical Project Engineer

Experience of electrical building services design and Site design representative in the Rail environment, including HV and LV distribution, UPS and battery systems, lighting and emergency lighting, earthing and bonding, and CMS design

Registration with a UK Engineering Institution

Understanding of: the requirements of Network Rail and/or Crossrail and/or HS2 standards (knowledge of LUL/TfL standards would also be useful). the Building Regulations and British standards and industry guidance associated with electrical building services. health and safety regulations (e.g. Construction (Design and Management) Regulations), Common Safety Method and HSE guidance. typical project administration processes (technical queries, non-conformance notices, technical submittals etc.). typical testing and commissioning and entry into service processes. project technical lifecycle (RIBA work stages and BSRIA BG6).
