Role Overview
Join the WETS Deposition group within Lam India Global Hardware Technology as an Electrical Program Lead Engineer.
Own electrical and controls architecture for wafer fabrication equipment and provide system-level technical authority across the product lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct design reviews and take ownership of electrical submodules.
- Design complex electrical and electronic circuits.
- Drive new product development, continuous improvement, and multiple subsystem projects.
- Assess alternative solutions against functional and performance requirements.
- Make major subsystem design decisions using systems principles.
- Lead cross-functional participation, guided brainstorming, and structured investigations.
- Own subsystem quality issues and define cut-in strategies for subsystem changes.
- Develop design best practices and standards.
- Translate customer requirements into concepts, schematics, product builds, and validation.
- Define electrical, controls, firmware, and software interface boundaries.
- Define system bring-up and verification strategies, including power sequences and interlock validation.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
