Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical maintenance activities for plant equipment and facilities
- Plan and assign maintenance tasks, supervise electrical technicians
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance
- Diagnose electrical issues and support troubleshooting of machinery and power systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Maintain maintenance records and collaborate with production and engineering teams
- Recommend improvements to reduce downtime and enhance asset reliability
Requirements
- Strong supervisory skills to lead, coach, and evaluate maintenance teams
- Hands on expertise in electrical maintenance on industrial machinery and plant infrastructure
- Solid understanding of electricity principles and industrial power distribution
- Background in electrical engineering or equivalent technical discipline
- Experience with electrical equipment such as motors, drives, control panels, and PLC based systems
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of maintenance planning, CMMS, and root cause analysis methods
- Commitment to workplace safety with familiarity in lockout/tagout procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in steel manufacturing or heavy industry is beneficial
