Role Overview
The Electrical Inspector inspects electrical installations and systems at client sites in Dubai.
The role ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Work Arrangement
- This is a full-time, on-site role based at client sites in Dubai.
- The role involves collaboration with project managers, engineers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings and specifications and conduct routine and ad hoc inspections.
- Document findings in clear, detailed reports.
- Identify hazards and non-compliant work and recommend corrective actions.
- Verify that remedial measures are completed effectively.
- Support quality assurance and participate in site meetings.
- Provide guidance on electrical safety best practices.
- Stay current with local regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electricity and electrical principles for building and infrastructure projects.
- Skills in electrical safety, hazard identification, risk mitigation, and safe work practices.
- Experience in quality control and assessing workmanship, materials, and system performance.
- Expertise in applying local and international electrical codes and standards.
- Electrical engineering foundation sufficient to review drawings, specifications, and designs.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in electrical inspection, construction supervision, or a similar role is required.
- Inspection or safety certifications and familiarity with UAE regulations are advantageous.
