Role Overview
Stantec is seeking an Electrical Inspector to join its team in Abu Dhabi.
The role supports construction and supervision activities involving sewerage, drainage, irrigation, road, and related works.
Responsibilities
- Inspect sewerage, drainage, irrigation connections, and miscellaneous construction works.
- Conduct surveys using modern instruments and maintain site measurement records.
- Inspect road works and permanent reinstatements.
- Deal with existing services and utility networks.
- Conduct quality inspections using ISO 9000 quality systems.
- Maintain records and generate activity reports.
- Identify non-conforming works, prepare corrective actions, and coordinate responses.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant technical qualification and at least 7 years of experience in construction and supervision of related works.
- Full knowledge of existing sewerage, drainage, and irrigation networks in Abu Dhabi.
- Experience with surveying, site measurements, road works, permanent reinstatements, and existing services.
- Extensive quality inspection experience with hands-on ISO 9000 quality systems experience.
- Experience maintaining records, generating reports, and coordinating corrective actions.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
