Role Description
Manage electromechanical tender activities from receiving RFQs through successful bid submission.
Work with the Estimation Manager, technical team, trade estimators, procurement team, and site teams.
Job Description
- Study RFQ tender documents, highlight scope and design issues, and prepare required RFIs.
- Serve as the technical expert on assigned tenders and provide support and direction.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project status, progress, and challenges.
- Provide technical support and coordinate the work.
- Build BOQs from design drawings and estimate and confirm tender BOQ quantities.
- Track and update supplier and subcontractor profiles in coordination with relevant teams.
- Update the pricing database regularly according to market conditions.
- Conduct progress meetings to identify and resolve issues with team members.
- Respond to the needs of organizational clients.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills and understanding of project integration.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work.
- Strong understanding of broader construction processes and systems.
