Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on Mining Equipment including onboard PLC’s / Protection and Control / HMI equipment
Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on Material Handling and Hoisting equipment
Assist electricians in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of underground electrical control systems
Create and modify of project work packages including procedures, commissioning lists, bills of materials, and training documents
Work with equipment with voltage ratings up to 25KV
Work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve goals
Participate in using and promoting the safety systems in place
Work on a 5-5-4 schedule, includes working days and weekends
Work in an underground setting
Accredited Electrical Engineering Technologist, Instrumentation Engineering Technologist, Electronics Sytems Engineering Technologist or similar accredited diploma (Requirement), will consider Electrical Engineer
Experience in heavy industry, in particular underground mining, is an asset
Skilled in Allen-Bradley and Schneider PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting
Proficient in RS Studio, FactoryTalk SE/ME, Unity, CodeSys
Familiar with Protection Relays and Control Devices
Familiar with industrial networking including Cat5e, switching, and industrial protocols (MODBUS, CIP, ETH/IP)
Experience in fiber optics, L3 routing, wireless, Cisco IOS programming an asset
Familiar and able to work safe in an Industrial Environment
Ability to communicate with multidisciplinary group in a complex production environment
