Role Overview
GHD is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for its Engineering Design Organization during the upcoming summer.
The intern will assist engineers and project managers with a variety of tasks focused on Power System projects.
Workplace Model
- The role follows a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Make comparative engineering and economic evaluations.
- Gather and compile data.
- Perform engineering studies.
- Assist with CADD drawings.
- Develop facility layouts, schematics, and schedules.
- Perform design calculations.
- Conduct cost estimates.
Candidate Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an electrical engineering bachelor's or master's degree program.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals.
- AutoCAD skills are a plus.
- Ability to learn on the job and apply theory in a practical setting.
- Ability to manage several tasks at once and determine priorities.
