Electrical Engineering Intern HVDC Master or PhD

Une expérience préalable avec des équipements haute tension et des schémas électriques est un atout.

Une expérience des études RMS / EMT et des équipements HIL sera fortement appréciée.

Vous êtes capable de communiquer en français et en anglais.

We are looking for an intern in electrical engineering to join our HVDC team at Hitachi Energy – Montreal. You will be part of a team of talented engineers working for Systems Design department, reporting to the HVDC Engineering Manager in Canada. You will contribute with system performance studies using RMS and EMT tools. Internship duration: 6 months

Start date: October 2025 (flexible)

Work schedule: Full-time

Location: St. Laurent, Montreal, Quebec

Work mode: Hybrid (Combination of remote and in-office work)

Support system performance team with RMS / EMT studies

Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments

You are studying or is recent graduated on Masters or PhD on electrical engineering or correlated area

You are passionate for Electric Power Engineering

Previous experience with high voltage equipment and electrical drawings schematics is an asset.

Experience with RMS / EMT studies and HIL equipment will be highly appreciated.
