Role Overview
DACO is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support infrastructure and construction projects across Saudi Arabia.
The role covers electrical design review, site supervision, execution, compliance, quality control, coordination, and reporting.
Design and Technical Review
- Review and validate electrical design drawings, load schedules, and single-line diagrams.
- Evaluate shop drawings against project specifications and standards.
- Review material submittals for compliance with approved project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants on drawing approvals and technical clarifications.
Site Supervision and Execution
- Supervise MV/LV power distribution, street lighting, building lighting and power, and low-current systems.
- Ensure works are executed according to approved IFC drawings.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and installation quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and prepare site observation reports.
Compliance and Quality Control
- Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code, applicable SEC standards, project specifications, and health and safety regulations.
- Participate in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Support QA/QC inspections and close nonconformance reports.
Project Coordination and Reporting
- Attend progress and coordination meetings.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Support BOQ verification and quantity tracking.
- Assist with cost control and material planning.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid and active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- 4–6 years of experience in infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting systems, and low-current systems.
- Familiarity with SEC standards and Saudi regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Familiarity with Revit or BIM is preferred.
- Ability to work in multiple project locations across Saudi Arabia.
- Strong analytical thinking, leadership, and site coordination skills.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person across multiple project locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
