Role Overview

Parsons is seeking an Electrical Engineer to monitor electrical, ELV, and associated systems on project works.

The role ensures compliance with contract documents, approved drawings, specifications, project procedures, and applicable authority requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor electrical works and review electrical, ELV, ICT, and related technical submittals.
  • Review RFIs, change-order proposals, contractor claims, project records, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, energization, inspections, corrective works, and handover activities.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, utility providers, and project disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare inspection reports, technical correspondence, progress updates, completion documentation, and handover packages.
  • Ensure electrical activities comply with project safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Relevant experience in electrical engineering, construction supervision, or project delivery.
  • Experience reviewing electrical and ELV submittals, drawings, RFIs, and related documentation.
  • Understanding of electrical systems, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, specifications, and Saudi authority requirements.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to identify technical issues and coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

  • Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is desirable.
  • Experience in an engineering consultancy or project management consultancy environment is desirable.
  • Experience delivering infrastructure, building, or major development projects in Saudi Arabia is desirable.
  • Familiarity with low-voltage, medium-voltage, ELV, ICT, lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems is desirable.

Workplace

  • The role includes site inspections and monitoring of physical electrical works in a project environment.
