About the Role
UDCT is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Riyadh to support electrical aspects of fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial safety systems. The role involves designing electrical systems, preparing technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical systems for fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial safety systems
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to oversee installation, testing, and commissioning
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform site inspections
- Contribute to maintenance plans to ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical equipment
- Collaborate with safety and mechanical teams to optimize system performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related discipline
- Strong foundation in electricity and electrical engineering
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Power Distribution
- Effective communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
- Willingness to work on site in Riyadh and conduct regular field inspections
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively
- Experience working with power systems, including protection schemes and control systems
- Experience in industrial, construction, or building services projects, preferably involving fire protection or safety systems

Role Description
- Design and review electrical systems for fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial safety systems.
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of power distribution and control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform site inspections, and contribute to maintenance plans.
- Collaborate with safety and mechanical teams to optimize system performance and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Strong foundation in electricity and electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Power Distribution, including layout development, load calculations, and equipment selection.
- Effective communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to work on site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and conduct regular field inspections.
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively on site with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working with power systems, including protection schemes, control systems, and integration with fire protection and HVAC equipment.
- Experience in industrial, construction, or building services projects, preferably involving fire protection or safety systems.
