Role Overview
Electrical Engineer responsible for electrical design, technical reviews, site coordination, system integration, project management, and client engagement.
The role covers residential, commercial, and industrial projects and requires compliance with local codes, industry standards, NFPA, IEC, and other safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical designs, including load calculations, lighting design, and power distribution design.
- Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations from team members and contractors.
- Visit construction sites, supervise electrical installations, and verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate electrical systems with MEP and civil engineering disciplines.
- Manage electrical engineering timelines and budgets and report progress to stakeholders.
- Handle client electrical inquiries and prepare technical documentation for proposals and project kick-offs.
- Stay current on electrical engineering technologies, trends, and regulations.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- At least 6 years of experience in electrical engineering is required.
- Experience with medium- to large-scale electrical design projects is required.
- A master's degree or professional certifications such as PE or LEED is a plus.
- Familiarity with real estate projects is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and ETAP is required.
- Understanding of power systems, lighting, grounding, and safety standards is required.
- Familiarity with BIM is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration abilities are required.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and maintain high-quality standards is required.
