Key Responsibilities
- Position: Electrical Engineer (Operations & Maintenance) Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat Experience: 8-12 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operation and maintenance of HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, DG sets, UPS, and power distribution networks.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability through preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and minimize downtime.
- Monitor electrical safety compliance and adherence to statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance teams, and contractors for smooth plant functioning.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and electrical documentation.
- Support shutdown planning, execution, and reliability improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in Electrical Operations & Maintenance within industrial/manufacturing plants.
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, motors, MCCs, PCCs, DGs, and UPS systems.
- Experience in plant maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability enhancement.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices, PTW, LOTO, and relevant IEC/IS standards.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
