The Electrical Engineer – Operations & Projects is responsible for safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and development of Etihad Arena's electrical infrastructure.
The role primarily focuses on HV, MV, and LV electrical systems while providing technical oversight across MEP, HVAC, plumbing, ELV, and Fire and Life Safety disciplines.
The position supports daily venue operations, live events, maintenance activities, contractors, technical projects, temporary installations, and venue upgrades.

Role Overview
The Electrical Engineer – Operations & Projects is responsible for safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and development of Etihad Arena's electrical infrastructure.
The role primarily focuses on HV, MV, and LV electrical systems while providing technical oversight across MEP, HVAC, plumbing, ELV, and Fire and Life Safety disciplines.
The position supports daily venue operations, live events, maintenance activities, contractors, technical projects, temporary installations, and venue upgrades.
Electrical Systems
- Manage planned preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance for electrical infrastructure.
- Oversee HV, MV, and LV distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, distribution boards, and protection systems.
- Manage emergency generators, ATS, UPS, and other critical or emergency power infrastructure.
- Review load calculations, protection requirements, equipment capacities, and power-distribution arrangements.
MEP and Fire Life Safety
- Coordinate electrical requirements for HVAC systems, pumps, plumbing equipment, mechanical plant, and control systems.
