- Design and review electrical systems for MEP projects including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and earthing systems
- Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing
- Develop and review shop drawings, layouts, and as built drawings
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings including power distribution layouts, cable routing, earthing, single line diagrams, and panel board layouts
- Develop and modify 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and BIM platforms
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and civil teams to ensure integrated project delivery
- Supervise on site electrical installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC) and international standards
- Review material submittals, technical datasheets, and method statements
- Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring
Requirements
- Experience in designing and reviewing electrical systems for MEP projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM platforms
- Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination
- Knowledge of local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC) and international standards
- Ability to supervise on site electrical installations and ensure compliance
- Strong coordination and communication skills
