Electrical Engineer III

• Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or 8 years equivalent experience is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE or P. Eng.) certification is required.
• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• 5+ years of power generation industry with EPC experience is required.
• Ability to travel 5-15%.
• A valid drivers license is required.
• Advanced level of knowledge in: Power Systems Analysis, load flow, and short circuit modeling Reactive compensation evaluation DC and AC Electrical Design Design for Constructability US and Canadian Industry Standards Preparation of Equipment Specifications Oral and written skills include: Clear and concise technical writing Ability to communicate issues internally with Electrical, Solar, Civil/Structural, and Mechanical Engineers, CAD Designers, Project Managers, and Contract and Estimating Teams and Externally with Clients and suppliers

Anticipated base salary range : $ 11 6 ,000 - $1 45 ,000

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

This position is bonus eligible.
