Electrical Engineer I

AS9100/ISO SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives. Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions. Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions. Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate. Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required. Cooperate with Auditors. Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
• EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university; or one (1) to four (4) years of proven experience in design and development of electrical/electronic components and systems with a registered engineering firm; or a combination of education and experience. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.[KD1]
• CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS IEEE Membership is preferred. Passed or preparing for EIT exam preferred.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, stand, and sit and use hands with electrical equipment.
• WORK ENVIRONMENT Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. Employee is occasionally exposed to low- and high-voltages during design, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Extended work hours and/or travel may occasionally be required.
