The Electrical Engineer I will join the spacecraft team and work on PCB-level hardware implementation.

Role Overview
CesiumAstro develops communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.
The Electrical Engineer I will join the spacecraft team and work on PCB-level hardware implementation.
The role offers mentorship and collaboration with experienced engineers across hardware, software, FPGA, thermal, and mechanical disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Translate spacecraft requirements into robust hardware designs aligned with system performance, reliability, and mission objectives.
- Own board-level development from design through production.
- Contribute to subsystem definition, integration, and troubleshooting across the spacecraft lifecycle.
- Conduct trade studies on part selection and technical direction using input from others.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- At least two years of experience in electronics hardware development.
- Proficiency with EDA tools such as Altium and experience with PCB layout.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, electronic loads, and signal generators.
