Job Summary
Rime Group FZE is seeking an Electrical Engineer proficient with EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, and PLC programming.
The role supports the Engineering and R&D team with electrical work for commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
The engineer will work independently on routine responsibilities and with senior engineers on complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and troubleshoot controllers, VFDs, PLCs, and HMIs when required.
- Conduct continuity, insulation-resistance, functional, and electrical-safety tests.
- Ensure completed work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with Mechanical Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Site teams.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and after-sales service.
- Maintain accurate testing, commissioning, and technical records.
- Perform electrical wiring, cable termination, testing, and commissioning.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
- Support electrical panel and control-circuit design modifications.
- Select electrical components such as breakers, contactors, relays, protection devices, sensors, and cables.
- Prepare bills of materials and technical specifications.
