Role overview
The Electrical Engineer designs, tests, commissions, and maintains electrical systems and equipment while supporting safety, reliability, and project compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Design electrical systems, layouts, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Perform electrical calculations, load assessments, and equipment selection.
- Coordinate designs with civil, mechanical, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and technical assessments.
- Troubleshoot systems, equipment, and installation issues.
- Oversee power distribution, lighting, cabling, switchgear, transformers, and controls.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, clients, and project teams.
- Review technical submissions, shop drawings, materials, and equipment specifications.
- Monitor installation quality, progress, materials, and schedules.
- Prepare technical reports, testing records, commissioning documents, and project records.
- Support maintenance, upgrades, modifications, energy-efficient designs, and improvement projects.
- Identify technical risks and implement engineering solutions.
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Have relevant experience in electrical engineering, construction, MEP, manufacturing, or facilities.
