Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical design bases and philosophies and perform electrical system studies and calculations.
- Design power generation, HV/LV distribution, UPS, emergency power, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, heat tracing, and cathodic protection interface systems.
- Prepare single line diagrams, load lists, load calculations, cable sizing, voltage-drop calculations, and electrical layouts.
- Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables including schedules, datasheets, routing layouts, hazardous-area layouts, specifications, studies, schematics, and material take-offs.
- Engineer and specify transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS and battery chargers, diesel generators, motors, lighting fixtures, and heat-tracing systems.
- Select hazardous-area electrical equipment and ensure compliance with ATEX, IECEx, IEC, IS, IEA, API, NFPA, and client requirements.
- Perform load-flow, short-circuit, motor-starting, relay-coordination, and arc-flash studies using ETAP and PSCAD.
- Prepare technical requisitions, review vendor documents and drawings, participate in technical bid evaluations, and coordinate with suppliers.
- Coordinate with process, instrumentation and control, mechanical and piping, structural and civil, telecom, project management, clients, and EPC contractors.
Experience and Work Arrangement
- One year of total work experience is preferred.
- The role is full-time.
- Work is in person.
- Candidates should be able to commute reliably to Mulund, Mumbai, or be willing to relocate before starting.
Compensation
- Pay is ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 per month.
