Job Summary
Traysar is seeking a highly motivated and experienced founding Electrical Engineer to join our team. The machines you design and are responsible for getting built will be used to destroy hundreds of miles of tunnels currently used for terrorist activities. The candidate will work with a mechanical engineer (hydraulics) and report to an electromechanical engineer (team lead).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- End-to-end ownership of motor design, power distribution, and machine control systems.
- Development and tuning of motor controllers, actuators, drive logic, and safety interlocks.
- Production of detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness layouts.
- Selection of motors, drivers, batteries/power supplies, and all electrical components.
- Build and test control loops, sensor interfaces, and low-level firmware.
- Validation of electrical systems during prototype builds and field tests; troubleshooting and system optimization.
