Role Overview
The Electrical Engineer supports the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
The role works with project teams and stakeholders to ensure systems meet technical, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and review electrical systems, circuits, equipment, and related technical solutions.
- Prepare and review drawings, schematics, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Conduct testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation.
- Support installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities.
- Identify electrical issues, determine root causes, and recommend corrective solutions.
- Ensure designs and activities comply with standards, safety requirements, codes, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress, technical requirements, materials, and electrical deliverables.
- Participate in site inspections, technical meetings, testing activities, and project reviews.
- Maintain technical records, reports, drawings, and documentation.
- Support improvements to system reliability, efficiency, safety, and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, power systems, circuits, control systems, and electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical standards, safety requirements, codes, and engineering practices.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering or electrical design software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, ETAP, PLC, SCADA, or other engineering tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Good attention to detail, commitment to quality and safety, and willingness to learn new technologies.
