Range: $40-$52 an hour

Travel: 3 trips per year estimated

Blacksea Technologies is seeking an electrical engineer to work on a variety of tasks related to design, integration, and testing of prototype systems in commercial and military machinery systems.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or strong interests in the design of electrical and electronic component systems for production and prototype machinery and vessels.

Equipment used in these systems includes, but is not limited to:

• Electric motors (from fractional HP to > 100 hp) and motor controllers including servo systems and variable frequency drives
• Control systems comprised of micro-controllers, programmable logic controllers, and other digital controllers that are used with machinery and robotics
• Switches and sensors used to detect the motion of components
• Power supplies, battery chargers, and power conversion equipment
• CANbus and Ethernet equipment
• Communications equipment including mesh radios and SATCOM equipment
