Context
The Electrical Design Engineer reports to the Senior Electrical Design Engineer.
The role is part of a specialized technical group responsible for design reviews related to low-voltage electrical management systems on a metro project.
The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Electrical Design Reviews
- Review LV switchboards, MCC switchboards and Automatic Transfer Switchboard equipment layouts.
- Review LV cable, lighting, small power, low-current, fire alarm, BMS, earthing and lightning protection designs.
- Review cable sizing, raceway, correction factor, short-circuit and voltage-drop calculations.
- Review lighting illumination analysis using DIALux, AGI32 or another lighting program.
- Review low-voltage riser, single-line, circuiting and interconnection diagrams.
- Review cable load schedules, termination drawings and shop drawing details.
