Position Overview
Full-time, office-based Electrical MEP Design Consultancy role.
Design complete electrical systems from concept stage through IFC drawings for residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional, and industrial buildings.
The role focuses on design consultancy and does not consider site execution or maintenance-only profiles.
Electrical System Design
- Prepare LV power distribution single line diagrams for 230V and 400V systems.
- Develop power, lighting, small power, lighting looping, cable tray, coordination, riser, and shaft drawings.
- Prepare panel schedules, load schedules, and cable schedules.
- Design earthing systems to IS 3043 and lightning protection systems.
- Plan DG, UPS, ATS panels, and emergency power systems.
- Provide basic exposure to MV systems at 11kV and 33kV.
Calculations and Technical Analysis
- Perform connected load, demand load, diversity factor, transformer sizing, and DG capacity calculations.
- Perform cable sizing, voltage drop, short circuit, fault level, power factor correction, and protection device analyses.
- Ensure compliance with NBC, IS Codes, and IEC Standards.
