- We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for fire trucks and specialized vehicles.
- The role requires strong expertise in control systems, automotive electrical design, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- ****Key Responsibilities:****
- Prepare work instructions and detailed electrical schematics for fire truck systems.
- Design and develop electrical systems with strong knowledge of control systems and CAN Bus systems.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on hydraulic-related electrical integrations, including water supply and drainage systems.
- Develop and issue electrical designs in line with project schedules and deadlines.
- Interpret technical specifications and negotiate design details with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate closely with the mechanical design team to ensure proper placement and integration of electrical components in vehicles.
- Ensure all designs comply with international automotive standards and regulations.
- Review and improve existing systems to enhance performance, safety, and efficiency.
- ****Technical Requirements:****
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Expertise in control systems and CAN Bus systems
- Familiarity with automotive electrical design standards
- Understanding of hydraulic system integration
- ****Qualifications:****
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in automotive or heavy vehicle electrical design (preferably fire trucks or similar equipment)
- ****Skills & Competencies:****
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality engineering design
