Summary of the role
You, as Electrical Design Engineer , will be responsible for supporting the electrical/electronic design and testing of new X-Ray and Bond Test products as well as the maintenance of existing products.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and layout of electrical support systems for X-Ray and Bond Test machinery.
- Design and documentation of electrical panels, PCBs and general machine wiring.
- Basic mechanical design for electro-mechanical elements of machines.
- Practical electrical and electronic prototyping.
- Specification, documentation and management of electrical bills of materials.
- Support and improve electrical design of existing product range.
Skills and Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience designing electrical/electronic systems in an industrial setting.
- Experience of designing electromechanical systems (eg. Robotics, production automation etc.).
