Responsibilities
- Design MV/LV electrical distribution networks and utility infrastructure
- Prepare load demand calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and power system studies
- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), utility layouts, design reports, and technical specifications
- Design street lighting systems using DIALux
- Coordinate with utility authorities such as TAQA (ADDC/AADC)
- Support substation planning and utility corridor design
- Perform power system studies using ETAP and/or Siemens SINCAL
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including roads, wet utilities, and telecommunications
- Review technical submissions, drawings, and consultant deliverables
- Support projects through concept, detailed design, and IFC stages
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Dry Utilities/Electrical Infrastructure Design
- Arabic Speaker (Mandatory)
- Experience in UAE infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution networks, substations, and utility infrastructure
- Experience with TAQA (ADDC/AADC) authority standards
- Proficiency in ETAP and/or Siemens SINCAL
- Proficiency in DIALux/DIALux EVO
- Consultancy background (mandate)
