College diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field;
Minimum of six (6) years of experience in designing computer-assisted electrical drawings and inspecting electrical construction work;
Experience and proficiency with CAD technology (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Vault, and AutoCAD Electrical);
Eligible for certification with l’Ordre des technologues professionnels du Québec or the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT);
Strong knowledge of drawing techniques, design, inspection, and framework/structure construction;
Knowledge of applicable procedures, rules, regulations, standards, and safe work practices related to job duties;
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing;
Valid driver’s license (Class G in Ontario or Class 5 in Quebec) and an insurable driving record;
Eligible for Marine Transportation Security Clearance;
Availability to undergo a medical examination and functional capacity evaluation;
Ability to work at heights, in depths, near open water, and in confined spaces.
