Role Overview
A well-established commercial electrical contractor is seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager due to significant growth.
The role involves managing commercial electrical refurbishment projects across sectors including leisure and hospitality.
Location and Working Arrangement
- The role is based in Bedford, Bedfordshire, within a commutable distance.
- Working is hybrid and split between home, site, and office visits.
Job Overview
- Oversee a small team of employed and subcontracted electricians delivering electrical refurbishment projects.
- Act as the client point of contact from project conception through final handover.
- Attend weekly progress meetings and provide clear project updates.
- Act as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor for managed contracts.
- Sign off engineers' electrical testing certifications and participate in NICEIC inspections.
Job Requirements
- Strong commercial electrical contracts experience is required.
- Experience in leisure or hospitality projects is highly desirable.
- The candidate must be a Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 Electrical, AM2, 18th Edition, and 2391 Inspection and Testing, or equivalents.
