Job Summary
The role is for a specialized Draughtsman producing detailed drawings for custom modular furniture and integrated MEP systems.
The Draughtsman will support architects and engineers by translating concepts into precise, manufacturable, and buildable plans.
The position requires strong CAD proficiency and knowledge of interior fabrication and building services.
Technical Design and Drafting
- Develop 2D and 3D technical and shop drawings for modular furniture, including joinery details, materials, and hardware specifications.
- Prepare coordinated drawings for HVAC, electrical power and lighting, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Ensure drawings are clash-free and integrate with architectural and interior designs.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and MEP engineers to ensure design intent, accuracy, and feasibility.
- Manage revisions based on feedback from project managers and client meetings.
- Conduct site visits in the Mumbai area to gather field measurements and verify existing conditions.
