What You'll Do
Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams on real projects
Contribute to the design, development, testing, and validation of engineering solutions
Gain hands-on experience with hardware, embedded systems, signal processing, and related technologies
Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and project discussions
Collaborate with fellow interns on a prototype project
Learn how engineering supports traffic detection and transportation systems around the world The LIFE Internship Experience
In addition to project work, LIFE interns participate in activities designed to help them grow professionally and connect with other interns across the company.
Throughout the summer, you'll have opportunities to:
Attend leadership and personal development workshops
Participate in team-building activities
Help design and launch a student-built rocket
Connect with employees and leaders through lunches and networking events
Receive mentorship from experienced engineers
Explore how products move from concept to deployment
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Expected to have completed most junior-level coursework before Summer 2027
- Exposure to hardware design, embedded systems, signal processing, or related areas
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Curious, motivated, and eager to learn
