Sunworks is hiring an Electrical AutoCAD Draftsman for its Engineering – Electrical Design and Drafting department.

The role supports ground-mounted and rooftop solar PV projects by preparing accurate electrical and technical drawings.

The position requires approximately two years of hands-on experience and coordination with multiple project teams.

Prepare electrical layouts, Single Line Diagrams, cable routing drawings, conduit layouts, and cable trench drawings.
Develop inverter, SCB, transformer, equipment, and switchyard layouts.
Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Procurement, and Project teams.
Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and engineering records.
Provide drawing clarifications, prepare as-built drawings, and support site execution teams.

Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Two years of experience preparing electrical engineering drawings.
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
Experience with Single Line Diagrams, cable routing drawings, cable trench layouts, and inverter layouts.
Knowledge of ground-mounted solar PV electrical systems.
Understanding of SCB, LT panel, HT panel, transformer, RMU, and switchyard layouts.
Ability to interpret electrical engineering drawings.
Knowledge of electrical drafting standards.
