Minimum Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that is equivalent to the following minimum qualifications may be acceptable. Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, geography, geology, hydrology, environmental engineering, landscape architecture or related field from accredited college/university. Master's degree and/or Stormwater Management Certificate desirable. Experience: Four years relevant experience in environmental management (stormwater/watershed management desirable), regulatory compliance, and environmental projects or programs (stormwater- or waterway-related desirable), including one year lead direction or supervisory experience. License or Certificate/ Other Requirements Individuals who are appointed to this position will be required to maintain a valid California Driver's License throughout the tenure of employment OR demonstrate the ability to travel to various locations in a timely manner as required in the performance of duties. Fieldwork experience: Geographic Information System (GIS) experience is desirable. Environmental justice experience desirable.

• This is an at-will position, exempt from the provisions of the City of Oakland Civil Service Rules, per Charter Section 902.
