EHS Technician

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree.
• 0-2 years of experience in environmental, health and safety or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to effectively interpret guidelines and policies.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build collaborative relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certification, such as OSHA 30-Hour General Industry.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• This role involves working in a manufacturing environment and conducting inspections around facilities, machinery, and safety equipment. Employees in this role may also collect samples, test equipment, manage hazardous waste materials, and participate in emergency response drills while following applicable safety and environmental procedures.
