Position Summary

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage, hire, and performance-manage a team of one to five employees.
• Coach employees at all levels to achieve best-in-class EHS performance.
• Lead lockout/tagout, confined-space, and electrical-safety initiatives.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Implement risk-reduction, compliance, and employee-engagement programs.
• Direct compliant execution of EHS programs throughout the facility.
• Work with the Corporate EHS Team to develop programs and policies.
• Communicate EHS metrics from senior leadership to hourly employees.
• Lead projects focused on identifying and controlling EHS hazards.
• Assist with workers' compensation claim investigations related to EHS performance.
• Prepare environmental permits and regulatory reports.
• Support Process Safety Management and health and safety inspections.
