The Environmental, Health, and Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role plays a key part in promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs for employees.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; recommend corrective actions.
Support emergency response planning and drills.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and sustainability.
Performs clerical duties related to the Safety department including but not limited to inspection logs, training certificates, LOTO forms, risk assessments, and PPE assessments
Essential Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent
At least two years related experience required
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
Certification such as OSHA 30, HAZWOPER, or First Aid/CPR is a plus
