We are looking for an experienced EDW Data Modeler to join our team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing enterprise scale data models for banking data warehouses and delivering robust analytical data solutions.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, ETL developers, and BI teams to build scalable, high performing data models that support regulatory reporting, risk management, and business intelligence.

Design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for Enterprise Data Warehouses.
Develop dimensional models using Star and Snowflake schemas.
Create enterprise data models for Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and analytical platforms.
Perform source to target mapping, data profiling, and gap analysis.
Define and maintain data standards, naming conventions, and metadata.
Design data models for banking domains including Customer, Accounts, Loans, Deposits, Payments, Cards, Treasury, Risk, Finance.
Support enterprise reporting and regulatory reporting requirements.
Ensure data consistency, lineage, and governance across the EDW.
Work closely with Data Architects, ETL Developers, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts.
Participate in solution design discussions and architecture reviews.
Provide guidance on data modeling best practices and performance optimization.
Optimize data models for reporting and analytical performance.

8+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Warehousing and Data Modeling.
Strong expertise in Enterprise Data Modeling, Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Models, Star Schema & Snowflake Schema, Data Warehouse Design, Data Marts.
Excellent SQL skills.
Experience with Data Modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler.
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
Experience working with enterprise Data Warehouse platforms.
Good understanding of Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage.

Candidates must have hands on experience in the Banking domain, with exposure to one or more of: Core Banking, Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting, Basel III / Basel IV, IFRS 9, Treasury, Customer 360, AML, Banking Data Warehouse implementations.
