Instructors need to demonstrate mastery in all skills for the courses they teach. Instructors need to teach AHA materials correctly and as outlines in the appropriate Instructor Manual and Lesson Maps.
Instructors must be able to test students effectively and maintain a high standard of ethics and professionalism when teaching AHA courses.
Instructors need to be able to manage time, space, materials, and paperwork in compliance with American Heart Association guidelines.
High School diploma preferred
American Heart Association BLS
Certified by the American Heart Association as an instructor in one or more of the following: ACLS or PALS
