We are recruiting for 9 Education Administrators (Taught Programmes) to join our Faculty Education and Student Experience (ESE) team.
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Education Administrator to support the administration and delivery of undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes across the Faculty of Engineering Sciences.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone keen to develop their skills and build a rewarding career within the new Faculty of Engineering Sciences Education and Student Experience (ESE) team.
You'll be an organised and student-focused individual and play a key role in managing the academic cycle, from induction and timetabling to assessments and exam boards, while providing responsive support to students and staff.
You will work closely with academic and professional services colleagues to help ensure our programmes are well administered, and students receive a responsive and effective service.

These roles will be aligned to specific academic departments, working closely with their programmes, students and academic colleagues, while forming part of the wider Faculty ESE team.

You will work closely with academic and professional services colleagues to help ensure our programmes are well administered, and students receive a responsive and effective service.
This is a hybrid role. Flexibility is essential, as there will be peak periods, particularly around student-facing activities, when increased on-campus presence will be required. Postholders are expected to spend time on-site and physically located both with the wider Faculty ESE teams, and with the departmental teams they are supporting. This will be discussed, agreed and periodically reviewed with Line Managers.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (including Mathematics and English Language) or equivalent, or having acquired relevant experience
Administrative work in a busy office environment
Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (including accurate grammar, spelling and punctuation)
Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of people, including the ability to relate to staff and students in a teaching and learning context
