Dexis is seeking an Editorial Technician I to support a large-scale Army test and evaluation program. The project provides data collection, technical writing, computer operations, range scheduling, and administrative support services necessary to execute the government’s test mission. Support encompasses testing of a wide variety of automotive, combat, electronic, general equipment, and ordnance materiel, with services including data collection and coordination, data compilation and processing, development and management of data collection forms, test monitoring, technical writing and editorial review, reporting, data and software administration, range scheduling, and related operational support.
The Editorial Technician edits and proofreads technical documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity, format, and consistency. The role verifies basic factual information, checks the consistency of text with illustrations and other graphics, supports document layout and multimedia content, and ensures final copy reflects required editorial changes.
Work will be performed primarily onsite in Aberdeen, Maryland, with travel to other locations within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) as required by mission needs. This position is contingent upon contract award.
