CAI is hiring an Assessment Editorial Assistant to work with other editors, operations/production staff, and various internal clients to proofread and perform quality-control checks on educational testing materials.
Job Responsibilities
- The Editorial Assistant will primarily conduct online reviews to verify the accuracy and consistency of test booklet content. This work includes checking materials against established style and publishing requirements, including:
- Chicago, AP, and APA style guidelines
- State Department of Education publishing requirements
- Client-specific style rules
- Qualified candidates should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and proofreading requests under high-pressure daily deadlines. Additional hours may be required during peak periods.
