Responsibilities
- Conduct economic research, market analysis, and forecasting to support strategic planning and policy development
- Assess economic impact of policies, regulations, legislation, projects, and investment initiatives
- Monitor local, regional, and global economic trends and identify emerging risks and opportunities
- Develop economic models, forecasts, scenario analyses, and financial impact assessments
- Perform cost benefit analyses, economic feasibility studies, and impact assessments
- Analyze macroeconomic and sector specific indicators including GDP, inflation, employment, trade, investment, and fiscal performance
- Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret economic and statistical data from various sources
- Prepare high quality economic reports, policy papers, briefing notes, presentations, and strategic recommendations
- Provide expert economic advice and recommendations to senior management
- Support development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of economic policies and strategies
- Collaborate with internal departments to integrate economic analysis into strategic planning and budgeting
- Conduct benchmarking studies and comparative analyses of economic policies and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or related field
- Master's degree in Economics or related discipline preferred
- 5 8 years professional experience in economic analysis, policy development, economic research, or related field
- Experience within government entities, regulatory authorities, consulting firms, or international organizations preferred
- Strong knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and economic policy analysis
- Proficiency in statistical and analytical tools such as Excel, Stata, R, SPSS, Python, or similar
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills
- Strong report writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage

Skills and Qualifications
